Insane in the Rib Brain

SmokeStak3So after nearly 20 minutes of walking around @streetfeastldn I decided to follow my eyes, and drift toward where the fries covered in cheese sauce were coming from. That place was @smokestakuk and was my kinda heaven…  like an oasis in the middle of a desert! Simply put #meat (on or off the bone), #ribs, #brisket, #slowcooked what’s not to like?
I wasted no time and went ahead and ordered the thick cut pork ribs. A hunk of meat on the bone dripping with juicy flavours accompanied by their own take of Peri Peri salt fries, in a word probably the best ribs I have tasted this year, the tenderness of the meat was insane!

It had that melt in the mouth texture that you always want but very rarely get. I assume that this was due to the amount of time the pieces were slow cooked for. Lightly seasoned, which complimented rather than overpowered the grade of pork used.

The fries were cooked to perfection. The portion size was “LARGE”… Very satisfying! And
Rain-Rib4 then to top it off even further, covered in cheese! Maybe this helped to explain the massively long queue… Was that due to popularity or word of mouth on the day?

Regardless the reason, #Smokestak absolutely gets the #ManDemVFood stamp of approval! I shall definitely be going back there sooner rather than later!
